Brampton Wide Junior Youth Camp Schedule (Ages 11-14)

Camps for Junior Youth aged 11-14

10:00am-10:30am

Arrival

Waiting for parents/drivers to bring junior youth. Arrivals follow activities such as card games, social portion and board games until plenary.

10:30am-11:00am

Plenary

Plenary involves learning a song and/or playing a collective game altogether.

11:00am - 12:30pm

Session 1

Start of a junior youth book

12:30pm-1:30pm

Lunch 

Junior Youth eat alongside their animators inside or outside depending on weather conditions. At 1pm there is a collective physical activity. 

1:30pm - 3:00pm

Session 2

Start of a junior youth book

3:15pm-4:00pm

End of the day

Reflections on the day/pick ups. We also have time to think of a service project at the end of every camp collectively.

Brampton Wide Children Camp Schedule (Ages 5-10)

Join Camps that help youth think about the intellectual advancement of young people:

Schedule as follows:

10:00am-10:30am

Arrival

Waiting for children and parents to be dropped. Children who have arrived will be directed to game/activity stations until 10:30.

10:30am-11:00am

Plenary

Teachers and children will gather together to learn a prayer together that will be taught for that week. Groups will be established based off how teachers decides to group the participants. 

11:00am - 12:30am

Session 1

Children will follow teachers to the designated classrooms to begin the lesson the teacher has prepped.  

12:30am-1:30pm

Lunch 

Children will remain in the classrooms to eat their lunch for the first half. The second half will be for children to play in the park. 

1:30pm - 3:00pm

Session 2

Children will return to the classrooms they were in from session 1 to resume the lessons their teachers have prepared. 

3:00pm-3:15pm

Clean up

Teachers will instruct children to start to clean the room. 

3:15pm-4:00pm

End of the day

Children will remain in the classroom until parents arrive to pick them up. Teachers will also share with parents what the children did that day.

Starting our summer strong with our Summer of Service internship program! Every day of the summer will be a chance to connect with our community, draw on the arts, and engage in meaningful conversations with all members-from children to grandparents. Volunteers can get up to 500 volunteer service hours.

Are you interested in serving as a youth leader in your community and need volunteer hours?

This summer, you, your friends and other youth in your neighbourhood, can help guide new volunteers through training materials, organize reflection spaces, and work with junior youth and children over the course of the summer.

Gain experience working with diverse community member and get up to 25 volunteer hours per week from participating in this program!
