Children are the greatest treasure a community can possess for in them are the promise and guarantee of the future. In order for this promise to be realised, children need to receive spiritual nourishment. While parents have special responsibilities to children within the family unit, children are born into the trust of the community, and their well-being and moral development is the shared concern of all its members.

wHAT ARE children’s CLASSES?

Children’s classes offer lessons that focus on the development of spiritual qualities and their application in family and community life. The lessons are taught through arts and crafts, songs, storytelling, memorization, and games. Our classes are currently divided into three grades, and the following topics are covered:

  • Grade 1: Learning about the development of spiritual qualities such as love, joy, and radiance, etc.

  • Grade 2: Fostering habits and patterns of conduct that can be expressed through the application of the qualities learned in Grade 1.

  • Grade 3: Learning about the Source from which spiritual knowledge comes.

*There is no cost for attending these classes*

Who teaches the class?

Classes are usually led by older youth, who are eager to take on responsibility for guiding and accompanying children along a path of service in their community. Youth who have taken on this act of service strives to create a space where children can learn, ask questions, and refine their talents and abilities. However, this can not be done without the help of the parent(s). We understand that a good relationship between the teacher, child, and parent(s) is the best way to help any child to grow.
